Complete Hazmat Suit Kit
This holiday season, we’re putting a new spin on the iconic Santa suit. That means that instead of red velvet and fur trim, you’ll be decked out in the semipermeable, flame-resistant synthetic fibers of our MOPP suit. What’s more, Santa’s white nylon gloves will be getting a serious upgrade with our NC-11 gauntlets, which provide up to twenty-four hours of protection against CBRN threats.
Complete the look with our combat overboots–worn over your existing boots (including shiny black ones)–and a roll of Kappler chem tape. That way, your Yuletide ensemble will be as chemical-resistant as it is festive.

Storage Instructions
The MOPP-1 CBRN Protective Suit should be stored either in the original packaging at temperatures from -30°C to +50°C or in a hermetically sealed bag, with a relative humidity of up to 80% and without direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources.
Under these conditions, the suit’s shelf life is at least ten years.
MIRA Safety Protective CBRN Gloves (like all butyl rubber gloves) should be stored in their original packaging in a dark room, at a temperature between 41°F and 77°F, with a relative humidity of less than 75%. In these conditions, these gloves can be stored for fifteen years. Manufacturer advises these gloves can be stored at temperature extremes of -50°C to 60°C (-58°F to 140°F) if needed. These gloves are 100% butyl rubber and should be handled as such, so inspect for cracking, especially in flexion spots after use.
MIRA Safety Combat CBRN overboots should be stored in their original packaging in a dark room at a temperature between 32°F and 86°F (0-30°C), with a relative humidity of less than 80%. This equipment can be stored for ten years or longer in these conditions. These overboots should be protected from sunlight and stored away from chemicals and solvents. Overboots may be stacked.
Store Kappler ChemTape® in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The ideal storage temperature is 73ºF (23ºC). According to the manufacturer, there is no evidence that ChemTape® loses its protective characteristics, including adhesion, when stored in ideal conditions. ChemTape® may be stored at temperatures of up to 120ºF (49ºC). Note that high temperatures may lead to faster degradation.
